Bad Breath associated with Poor Dental Health
The failure to brush and floss teeth on a daily basis will surely lead to bad breath. The accumulation of food particles in the mouth promotes growth of bacteria that causes the foul odors.
If your dentist finds that there is no dental disease that could be causing your breath to smell, you may be referred to your family doctor or to a specialist to determine the odor source and a treatment plan.
